Food glorious food! In this topic we look at foods to keep our bodies healthy. We also explore where foods are grown and how the climate of a country shapes what is grown. We become Fair Trade experts as we learn about cocao and banana farming in different parts of the world.
Tremors
Tribal Tales
In this topic we move through the Stone Age, Bronge Age and Iron Age. We explore ways of life, for example tools that were used for hunting, homes, what people wore and where they settled. We make comparisons to life today through the eyes of a child.
Predator
What sets a predator apart from its prey? We explore the diets of predators and understand food chains. We think about what is needed to keep us healthy and learn names of the bones in the human body, and how they fit together to construct our skeletons. We also investigate the skeletons of other animals to find out how they are similar and different to humans.
