Headteacher’s Welcome
Welcome to Westfield Primary School. I am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher of this wonderful school and to welcome you to our website, where you can explore the vibrant, ambitious and nurturing community that makes Westfield so special.
Westfield is a proud community school that strives for excellence in all that we do. Our children are at the heart of every decision we make and we are committed to providing an education that inspires curiosity, builds confidence and supports every child to achieve their very best.
As a former Westfield pupil myself, this role carries deep personal meaning. My own journey through the school shaped not only my love of learning but also my belief in the power of a strong, caring community. Returning now as Headteacher is both a privilege and a responsibility I hold with immense pride. I have strong ties to the families, traditions and values of Wombourne, and I am dedicated to ensuring that Westfield continues to thrive as a place where children feel safe, valued and inspired.
Opening Minds, Shaping Futures
Our school motto, Opening Minds, Shaping Futures, captures the heart of our mission. At Westfield, we believe education should broaden horizons, ignite imagination and empower children to see themselves as capable, confident learners. We are equally committed to shaping futures - helping every child develop the character, resilience and ambition they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
This motto guides our curriculum, our culture and our daily interactions. It reflects our belief that learning is not just about knowledge, but about possibility.
Our staff team is passionate, skilled and committed to creating a learning environment where every child can flourish academically, socially and emotionally. Together, we aim to build on Westfield’s strengths, celebrate its heritage and drive forward a culture of high expectations, kindness and opportunity.
Whether you are a current parent, a prospective family or a member of our wider community, I warmly invite you to explore our website and discover what makes Westfield such a special place to learn and grow. I look forward to working in partnership with you as we continue to shape an exciting future for our children.
